Compensation: $45,000 – $65,000 starting base salary + very generous and lucrative commission and bonus package.
Location/Territory: Atlanta, GA.
MAJOR PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The position is directly responsible for increasing territory sales by generating new prospects, customers, & business. This person will have a solid understanding of the industry trends which will become the bases for strategic planning and forecasting.
Minimum Job Requirements
●Associate’s degree in area of marketing/sales, and/or 7 years experienced in the related gas/diesel generator career field.
●Must possess strong organizational & team building skills to effectively coordinate customer
service and sales.
●Strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal & written communication skills required.
●Well developed problem solving skills and ability to develop concrete alternatives.
●Must possess the ability to utilize & ensure existing department policies are followed and be willing to incorporate them into existing parts sales/service practices.
●Computer literacy/experience required with Microsoft Office products; Excel, Word, Outlook.
●Strong initiative, and requires little supervision to meet objectives.
●Minimum of 3 years gas/diesel generator products and services sales experience.
Essential Functions of the Job
●Improve the organization’s profitability.
●Generate Gas/Diesel Generator Parts and Service repair quotes.
●Generating familiarity with other disciplines related to business, such as finance, market research, sales, and planning.
●Open up new market that will boost the income of the company
●Identify new business opportunities, collects and compare pertinent data on the target market,from which recommendations and proposals can be drawn
●Joins related conferences and organizations that will extend the reach of the business, also exploring partnerships that will improve profitability.
●Presenting strategies for expansion and studying the company’s competitors.
●Make site and customer visits to gather information to prepare quotes and Service Contracts.
